Nurses are pivotal in delivering quality care as they provide 24-hour care services among various settings. The shift work is significant for bolstering the economic and social needs, however, shift work disorder among nurses is a rising concern as it associated with serious consequences.

Mental health support access- well clearly one counselling session a year was getting a bit too luxurious to support staff.
It is evident that work disorder negatively impacts the mental health emphasizing the importance of assessments and management of the causes of shift work disorder especially among shift nurses. A collective effort is required to improve the staff working conditions to assure the better-quality nursing care.
We know the causes, we know the solutions and yet here we are, patiently enjoying the groundbreaking strategy of doing absolutely nothing and hoping for better future.
